The arts have long been neglected in the evangelical world, argues Colin. But God is not only interested in the arts; He is the original Artist, the original Creator. The arts can provide powerful signposts of hope to a world that has lost hope.
Greetings Colin: We’ve not communicated since you returned to Canada. I was talking with our Steve today (He is visiting from Toronto) when your name popped into my mind. I see by your site that you are involved with faith and the arts as always.
It would be good to write back and forth as opportunities permit. I’d like to find out where you are (Brantford area?) and what you are doing.
Also, I’d love to see Steve in conversation with you. He’s very much like you, I think, and has been involved with TV and movie producing as well as worship leadership. He did well at U. of T. gaining two theological degrees.
Anyway, can we talk and connect once again? Every good wish. Shalom!
Bruce
Hi Bruce. Just saw your post as I wait at Toronto airport. I’m traveling to Germany, Switzerland, brussels, London (speaking and visiting family). Would love to connect when I return later in June.
